Risk Disclaimer

Trade your own risk

Physical commodity trading involves significant financial, operational, regulatory, and counterparty risk. Prices are volatile, transactions are typically high-value, and documentary instruments such as Letters of Credit can fail under adverse conditions. You should only participate if you have the experience, capital, and risk tolerance appropriate for these markets.

No financial or legal advice

TRADEBRIDGE is a marketplace facilitator. We are not a broker, dealer, financial adviser, lawyer, accountant, or tax specialist. Nothing on the Platform — including KYC tiers, badges, ratings, AI-generated assessments, news headlines, calculator tools, or trade documents — constitutes financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. You should obtain independent professional advice before entering into any transaction.

Advance payment is the single largest fraud vector

No guarantee of counterparty performance

Verification on the Platform confirms identity and document presence; it does not guarantee that a counterparty will perform, deliver on time, settle in full, or remain solvent through the life of a contract. You bear the credit and performance risk on every transaction.

Sanctions and export controls

Compliance with all applicable sanctions, export-control, and import regulations is your sole responsibility. You must screen every counterparty and end-use against the relevant designated-party lists at the time of each transaction.

Information accuracy

Listings, specifications, prices, and counterparty details are submitted by users. While we operate fraud-screening and KYC systems, we cannot independently verify every claim. Treat all third-party information as a starting point for your own diligence, not as a substitute for it.

Tools are indicative

The unit converter, currency converter, landed-cost calculator, and price ticker are provided for convenience and use industry-standard assumptions (e.g., 7.33 BBL/MT for crude). They are indicative only and not a substitute for a professional cost build-up or an executed price quotation from a counterparty.

Use of the AI KYC reviewer

The AI KYC reviewer screens document metadata for plausibility. It does not authenticate documents, verify signatures, or detect sophisticated forgeries. Final responsibility for the credibility of any counterparty rests with you.
